The small print - in big letters

  All prices listed are inclusive of travel costs within 25 miles of Billingham, 25 to 40 miles, a £30 +VAT travel time/fuel cost premium will apply as a minimum charge. Due to specialist qualifications I will travel further but please contact me for a price before booking as the additional cost will require payment on the day of my visit. 

Standard boilers (heating a cylinder) or Combi boiler (no cylinder) whether high efficiency or standard efficiency, no difference in price. 
A service visit involves the checking of your appliances safety devices and safe operation and will not resolve any ongoing or underlying problems. Any fault would be subject to a separate repair charge and will not be included in the service charge.

 Repair work incurs a £30 +VAT diagnosis charge if you choose not to go ahead with any remedial work, 
should work be carried out this will not be an additional charge but part of the first hours charge. 

LPG & range cookers require additional qualifications above the the standard, due to the cost of attaining these qualifications and the subsequent expertise provided, an additional charge has been levied.
Any work carried out is subject to these terms & conditions and any verbal contract is also subject to the same. 
To avoid any conflict, written quotations are available on request and all charges will be itemized.

Privacy Policy and GDPR

The new EU General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) that came into force 25/05/2018. In general terms your name, address, telephone number and email address will be securely stored. Used only for the purposes of WarmGas to carry out any work or a quotation you have requested at your home. If you request a service reminder, your details will be used for this purpose.  
Your name and address will be securely stored for accounting purposes for a period of 7 years and information used will only be as required by HMRC and government policy. 
I accept card payments and bank transfers but do not see your account details for any payment made via this method. Your banking information or credit/debit card details will not be stored as I will not have them. Any details will only be used by WarmGas for the reasons stated. Your information will not be passed on to third parties, sold or used for marketing reasons other than anything connected to service reminders or WarmGas promotions. If you do not want to be contacted following a visit please let me know.

WarmGas are committed to protecting your personal information.

This privacy notice has been written to inform all our customers and partners about what we do with the personal information that we collect from you, or that you provide to us.

By providing information or corresponding with us by telephone, email or via social media you are accepting and consenting to the practices described in our Data Protection policy.

Changes to this Privacy Notice

We may amend this Privacy Notice from time to time. If we make any substantial changes in the way we use your personal information we will make that information available by amending this notice.

Information we collect

We may collect and process the data you provide when you contact us by telephone, email or social media for the purpose of carrying out a service or central heating/gas appliance repair or quotation or by submitting invoices for payment.

No personal information will be recorded or passed on to third parties regarding your sexuality, sex, color, creed, race, marital status, religious beliefs, financial status or any other personal details that are irrelevant in regard to the services WarmGas provide. 

Your name, address and telephone number may be passed on to debt collection agencies or magistrates court in the event of non payment of invoices for services provided. In emergency situations your details may be passed on via the 999 service to the appropriate emergency service or an NHS hospital A&E department.

We will not share your information with any third party.

All information collected by us about you is stored on our highly secure servers and is not transferred outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”).

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk.

Once we have received your information we will use strict procedures and security features to prevent unauthorized access.

Customer information is stored for accounting purposes only, electronically for 7 years in accordance with government guidelines.

Access to information

Under GDPR you have the following rights in relation to the processing of your personal data:

To be informed about how we process your personal data. This notice fulfils this obligation
To request access to your personal data that we hold and to be provided with a copy of it
To request that your personal data is amended if inaccurate or incomplete
To request that your personal data is erased where there is no compelling reason for its continued processing
To request that the processing of your personal data is restricted
To object to your personal data being processed
Marketing Information we store about you is not passed on but purely to contact you regarding the service's you have requested.

Breaches of data

We tell the Information Commissioner's Office within 72 hours of any data breach and also notify any people affected by any such breach.
